What Is Social Networking?.
Social networking is the use of Internet-based social media sites to stay connected with friends, family, colleagues, customers, or clients. Social networking can have a social purpose, a business purpose, or both, through sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, among others. Social networking has become a significant base for marketers seeking to engage customers.
Despite some stiff competition, Facebook remains the largest and most popular social network, with over two billion people using the platform. It was followed, in order of popularity, by Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, and Pinterest, according to estatistica.com
YouTube: is a website for sharing videos uploaded by users over the Internet, there for, it is a video hosting service. The term comes from the English "you", which means you and "tube", which means tube, channel, but is used in slang as "television"
Pinterest: is a platform that allows users to create and manage, on themed personal boards, collections of images such as events, interests, hobbies and much more. Users can search for other pinboards, "refinish" images for their own collections
Instagram: is an application and social network of American origin, owned by Facebook, whose main function is to be able to share photos and videos with other users. It's available for Android, iOS, and Windows 10 devices. Created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, Instagram was launched in October 2010.
Twitter: is the name of a microblogging platform that allows you to communicate and share content in real time from anywhere in the world through the internet. The word twitter, from English, is a verb that means 'trill' or 'chirp', which is the sound that birds make.
Facebook is a free social network that allows users to interconnect to interact and share content over the internet. It was launched in 2004. Its founder is Mark Zuckerberg.
